What To Expect

All Creatures Veterinary Care (ACVC) in Centre Hall – High Quality Service Delivered with Courtesy, Respect, and Professionalism

Welcome to our Practice! As a new client or long-term friend of ACVC, you and your pet will experience a comforting atmosphere of high-quality professionalism each and every time you visit.

  • When you and your pet arrive for your appointment, we’ll greet you warmly, announce your arrival to our team, and promptly guide you and your pet into an examination room.
  • One of our veterinary team members will begin your visit by gathering information to relay to your pet’s doctor.  That information may include your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit.  If you have a copy of your pet’s previous medical record, please bring it with you to your appointment.  If you don’t have a copy of your pet’s medical record, we are happy to contact your pet’s previous health care provider to see if we can get either a digital or hard copy prior to your visit.  Previous medical information is always helpful and allows us to provide more comprehensive care for your pet.
  • Next, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet, ask further questions, and may recommend diagnostic tests to gain additional information. Once any recommended tests have been completed (which can often be done in a short time within the Practice), the doctor will share any diagnosis, recommended treatment plan, or any other additional information that you might need to care for your pet.
  • Finally, a veterinary team member will wrap things up by providing you with any recommended medications and discharge information, scheduling any needed recheck or follow-up visits, and answering any final questions you may have.

And always remember that anytime is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information and care that we’re providing for your pet.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time.   We have contingencies for emergencies but there will be times when the unexpected may create delays.  We strive to minimize any inconvenience created by emergencies and ask for your understanding if our team is tending to a critically ill or injured pet.
