Dr. Bob Cohen has been the owner of All Creatures Veterinary Care since March of 2012, and has now joined the clinical staff as a practicing veterinarian.
Dr. Cohen received his education at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, completing his undergraduate degree in Zoology in 1977 and his DVM at UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Cohen has practiced in Georgia, Maine, Connecticut, and Massachusetts before moving to Pennsylvania in 1994. Along with 12 years of experience in companion animal practice, he brings extensive experience in emergency and critical care medicine and surgery gained from 22 years as an Emergency Clinician in specialty and referral practices. His background also includes four years of teaching veterinary emergency medicine at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA just before moving to Pennsylvania in 1994. Along with his colleague, Dr. Pawlinski, Dr. Cohen has recently become a Fear Free Certified Professional (see Fear Free Pets online ).
Dr. Cohen lives outside of State College with his wife and three cats. When not practicing, he is a long-distance runner, avid motorcyclist, and holds a commercial pilots license.
